Copyright & Licences

Copyright belongs to, and is retained by the artist, even when the artwork has been sold to another individual or company (Copyright, Designs and Patents Act, 1988). Although copyright can (though rarely) be bought for an additional fee with the agreement of the artist.

All copy and images contained on this site are copyright SPi / Steve Peterson and must not be used in any other media or stored on a computer hard drive without permission.

Licences will normally be granted for an appropriate fee to enable an individual or company to reproduce an illustration. The licence will set out the use that can be made of the artwork and any restriction that is placed on its use, such as specific format, usage, duration, renewal provisions and location..
